Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager/Administrator to oversee daily operations within our busy office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, with experience in managing administrative tasks, team supervision, and human resources functions. Duties
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation across all departments
- Supervise all admin. tasks and coordinate team activities to maintain high standards of service
- Oversee human resources responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, and staff records management
- Assistance with financial administration using Xero, including invoicing, expense tracking, and budgeting support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required
- Manage correspondence via email and postal services efficiently and professionally
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other administrative projects as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration or management roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong familiarity with Xero and general accounting practices desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone manner
- Organised with outstanding organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment and staff management
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficient in clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a positive team environment
- Previous office experience combined with strong administrative skills is essential

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
