SR Drivers Ltd are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based at the Omega Site in Warrington.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for professional drivers looking for long-term stability, competitive PAYE rates, and the chance to secure a £48,000 per year permanent salary after successfully completing an initial 12-week agency period.
You will be joining a dedicated retail distribution operation, completing nationwide deliveries while representing a professional and established transport business.
The Role
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) trunking and retail deliveries
- Nationwide retail distribution
- Cage work involved
- Customer-facing deliveries
- 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern
- Various AM and PM start times available
- Safe and compliant vehicle operation at all times
- Additional shifts available for extra earning potential
Pay Rates During the initial 12-week agency period: £17.00 – £22.41 per hour PAYE
After successfully completing 12 weeks through SR Drivers Ltd, you will transfer to the client on a permanent contract with a: £48,000 annual salary
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Minimum 3 months UK Class 1 driving experience
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours, tachograph and WTD regulations
- Professional and reliable approach to work
- Good customer service skills
- No DD or DR offences
- Maximum 6 points on your licence
