The Crop Candle Company Ltd (t/a ECOFUEGO) is seeking a full-time bookkeper.
ECOFUEGO is the world's first wax firepit and following significant growth in the UK, the product has recently been launched in the US.
ECOFUEGO is sold via retail partners (B2B) and direct from the branded website (DTC) in both markets.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a product company which was marketed and sold in the B2B and DTC channels and preparing consolidated managements accounts. The candidate will need to have the following experience and skills:
- Proficient in using XERO.
- Reconciliation with DTC selling and payment portals such as Shopify, Paypal and Klarna.
- Managing and reconciling invoice finance portal.
- Set up and managing loan and interests accounts.
- Day to say invoicing and billing tasks.
- Preparing, checking and filing VAT returns.
- Preparing and processing payroll and pension runs.
- Account payable and accounts receivable tasks and responsibilities.
- Potential move to Sage software so experience would be preferable.
- Experience of consolidating accounts with a foreign subsidiary.
- Other tasks will include:
- Initially re-organising the chart of accounts to reflect evolved business and allocate some costs to correct accounts.
- Produce sales agents commission calculations monthly.
- Producing management reports on a company and consolidated basis including Sales data, cost analytics, P&L, Balance Sheet.
- Maintain a short-term cash flow forecast.
The position will be hybrid with 2-3 days a week at the company's office in Henley-on-Thames but sometimes flexibility on this will be expected of and offered to the candidate.
Salary will be market competitive and reflect experience and skills that are required to fulfil this role in a fast growing and entrepreneurial environment.
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
