We are a high end soft toy retailer based at the Trentham Estate, We have traded here for over 17 years and have a well established customer base, Familiar brands such as Jellycat, Steiff, Charlie Bears and much more are a small part of what we offer.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the perfect products to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
The position is for 3 days a week this will include a day at the weekend , Additional hours will be needed to cover staff holidays and busy periods, Bank Holidays are essential.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Handle transactions accurately using the till,.
- Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within designated shifts.
- Basic computer skills are essential
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
