Dunbar Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Wolverhampton area, who are seeking a dedicated SEND TA to join their supportive team.
About You:
- Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a school setting.
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to making a positive difference in children’s education.
- (A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.)
The Role:
- Provide tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech & language needs, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to ensure every pupil can access learning and make progress.
- Support children 1:1 or in small groups to build confidence, independence, and academic achievement.
- Contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain a positive, nurturing classroom environment.
