Safe and Sound Fire Ltd is a well-established organisation in the Fire and Security industry.
We offer a wide range of services including Supply & Servicing of Portable Fire Extinguishers,
Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Door Access, Intruder Systems.
Due to planned growth within the installation and service department, we are now actively looking to recruit an experienced Fire Extinguisher Technician covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Coverage: Mainly central belt of Scotland but willing to travel out with.
Position Type: Fire Extinguisher Technician
Job role: Working solo and as part of a team.
Previous experience preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided to gain a qualification as a BAFE Fire Extinguisher Technician (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) based on BS5306-3 Commissioning and Maintenance and BS5306-8 Selection and Installation of Portable Fire Extinguishers resulting in you being qualified to: - Carry out the Refilling, commissioning, and on-going maintenance of portable Fire Extinguishers.
Position Type: Fire Extinguisher technician
Hours of work: 40 hours weekly
(Monday-Thursday 08:00am-17:00pm) (Friday 08.00-14.30) ½ Hour for Lunch
Holiday allowance: 28 days
Salary: £29,000 - 32,000 (Basic weekly wage not including extras)
Employment start date: ASAP
