Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team at a vibrant nursery in the heart of the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing exceptional care to young children. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room and ensuring a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to deliver high-quality childcare services
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health & safety guidelines
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
Experience:
- Previous experience working in childcare or early years education
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- A recognised qualification in childcare or early years education is required
- Experience working with children across different age groups
- A valid driving licence is preferred for potential off-site activities
