Duties
- Safely operate delivery vans to complete multiple daily deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload packages, often requiring heavy lifting and careful handling to prevent damage
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all packages are accounted for before departure
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams and customers to confirm delivery times and resolve issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving and delivery procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and documentation of any incidents or delays
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure the van remains in optimal condition for daily use
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving standards
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification preferred
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude toward safety and service excellence
