Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Care Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children in a nurturing environment, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. The Care Practitioner will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships with children and their families while promoting an engaging and stimulating atmosphere. Promoting play, independence, positive relationships and fun at all times.
Monday to Thursday 2.45pm to 6.00pm
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, teachers and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to thrive in.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages children's growth.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities by guiding less experienced staff or volunteers when needed.
- Preparing and serving healthy snacks.
- Collecting children from a near by school and walking the children to the base school.
Requirements
- Proven childcare experience working is essential.
- A qualification in childrcare.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Demonstrated drive to create an engaging learning environment for young learners.
- Leadership skills that enable effective teamwork and collaboration within the setting.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
