ABOUT AURA THERAPY
Aura Therapy is a modern recovery and wellness clinic offering ice baths, a sauna and a steam room, alongside an in-house coffee and juice bar.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking individual to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment while serving customers at our coffee bar.
THE ROLE
This is a practical, customer-facing role focused on three main areas:
- Signing in customers who have already booked online
- Keeping the clinic and recovery areas clean and presentable
- Preparing and serving coffee, juices and refreshments
Customers will book and pay online before arriving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Sign-In
- Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Find and confirm each customer’s online booking
- Sign customers in on the booking system
- Direct customers to the correct facilities and changing areas
- Provide towels or other items included with their booking
- Inform the manager if there is a booking issue or customer concern
Cleaning and Facility Upkeep
- Keep the ice-bath, sauna and steam-room areas clean and presentable
- Clean and reset the facilities between customer sessions
- Keep changing rooms, toilets, reception and communal areas clean
- Collect and organise used towels
- Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries and customer essentials
- Follow the daily opening, cleaning and closing checklists
- Regularly check the clinic throughout the shift
- Report equipment faults, damage or safety concerns immediately
- Maintain Aura Therapy’s hygiene and presentation standards at all times
Coffee and Juice Bar
- Prepare and serve coffees, juices and other refreshments
- Operate the coffee machine and other bar equipment
- Maintain consistent drink quality and presentation
- Keep the coffee and juice bar clean and organised
- Clean equipment, utensils, counters and preparation areas
- Replenish cups, ingredients and bar supplies
- Check stock freshness and expiry dates
- Follow all food-hygiene and allergen procedures
- Report any low-stock items to the manager
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, polite and welcoming
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable carrying out regular cleaning duties
- Able to maintain high standards without constant supervision
- Organised and attentive to detail
- Comfortable using a tablet or computer to sign in customers
- Calm and professional when assisting customers
- Willing to learn how to prepare high-quality coffee and juices
- Interested in hospitality, fitness, recovery or wellness
- Flexible regarding part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends where required
Previous barista, hospitality, cleaning, gym, spa or leisure-centre experience would be beneficial, but training can be provided to the right person.
