Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Care Manager who can manage the day-to-day care services while also helping the business grow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, clients, care quality and compliance, as well as developing new business opportunities and bringing in new clients and care packages.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can deliver excellent care while also building strong relationships and helping expand the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of domiciliary and supported living services.
- Manage and support care staff and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Ensure high-quality, safe and person-centred care.
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families and professionals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with local authorities, commissioners, social workers and care coordinators.
- Generate new referrals, clients and care packages.
- Help mobilise and set up new care packages.
- Support recruitment and workforce planning.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing services.
- Monitor service quality, client satisfaction and business performance.
- Attend meetings and networking events to promote the organisation.
About You
- Experience as a Care Manager, Deputy Manager or senior care professional.
- Experience in domiciliary care, supported living or community care.
- Good understanding of care quality, safeguarding and compliance.
- Confident managing staff and services.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience or interest in business development and service growth.
- Commercially minded and able to identify new opportunities.
- Experience with recruitment and service mobilisation is desirable.
- Passionate about providing excellent, person-centred care.
- Relevant Level 4/5 qualification in Health & Social Care, Leadership and Management, or equivalent.
- Relevant Care Management or management qualification is desirable.
The key requirement is that you can do both: manage the care services effectively and actively help the business grow.
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
