We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Team Leader to join our Supported Living service. The successful candidate will play a vital role in leading a team that supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or other complex support requirements to live independently in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to a team of Support Workers.
- Ensure high standards of person-centred care and support in line with individual support plans.
- Oversee staff rotas, manage absences, and ensure sufficient staffing levels.
- Carry out regular supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings to maintain performance and morale.
- Promote a positive, inclusive environment that respects the dignity and choices of every individual we support.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health and safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Support with recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff development.
- Maintain accurate records, including care documentation, incident reports, and staff logs.
- Liaise effectively with families, external professionals, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Team Leader or senior role within supported living or a similar care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – Essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team.
- A person-centred approach with a strong commitment to quality care.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
