Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our dog day care. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and previous experience in commercial cleaning. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks, which include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting sofa’s and playframes.
- Sweeping up dog hair and cleaning the floor using a scrubber/drying machine.
- Vacuuming, cleaning and mopping the grooming room.
- Cleaning, sweeping and mopping reception, kitchen and toilet.
Additional duties include:
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times to minimise hazards.
- Adhering to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of client premises.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
The hours required are 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, but start times can be any time between 6.30pm and 4am, although initial training would need to start between 6.30pm and 7pm. Applicants should be organised, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Pay: £12.21 per hour
