Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and sanitizing high-touch areas regularly
- Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy throughout the shift
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during all cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching comfortably
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands
