Job Description:
As a Bar Staff member at Engine Rooms, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our patrons during live events and performances. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers at the bar.
- Take drink orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation during events.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar for events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of drink preparation and cocktail recipes is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate live events.

Pay: £12.21-£16.23 per hour
