Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment and work areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing food items
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries, as needed
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Note: Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
