Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive online tutorials and support sessions focused on veterinary support techniques aligned with QLS Level 3 standards
- Guide students through practical tasks such as animal handling, basic first aid, and client communication within a virtual learning environment
- Assess student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Develop engaging learning materials, including presentations, quizzes, and resource guides that enhance understanding of veterinary support roles
- Foster a positive and inclusive online classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and peer collaboration
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments in accordance with organizational policies
- Communicate clearly with students regarding course expectations, deadlines, and support options to ensure their success
Qualifications
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience or knowledge in veterinary support or animal care is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to teach or tutor in an online setting with confidence and enthusiasm
- Good IT skills, including proficiency with virtual learning platforms, Microsoft Office suite, and online communication tools
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple student groups and course materials effectively
- Knowledge of plumbing is a nice-to-have but not essential; however, familiarity with basic maintenance or technical troubleshooting can be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate students and facilitate clear understanding of complex concepts
