Your working arrangements will be flexible, based on the needs of the role, our customers and your preferences (agreed with your manager). Our offices are in Seaham and Bishop Auckland, and this role will require an on-site presence for part of the week.
The Electrical Team Lead will work in conjunction with the Property Repairs Senior Leadership Team to ensure that believe housing’s Property Repairs Electrical Team is developed as a flagship service that is great, consistent and modern.
You will lead a high performing team, delivering an excellent customer experience whilst balancing cost, quality and risk. You will also support compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities across the electrical service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the operational delivery of the organisations Electrical Team including repairs, inspection and testing activity, associated remedial works and the effective management of all resources required to deliver a great service whilst optimising performance, cost and risk
- complying with the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671 and the Codes of Practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken, as well as performing the role of ‘Qualified Supervisor’
- monitoring electrical budgets, ensuring accurate job costing, approval of contract variations and invoices for completed works
- ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and regulations is managed and monitored within day-to-day operations, whilst establishing a holistic culture of safety across the directorate.
