Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated preschool practitioner to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning atmosphere that fosters the development of each child's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
Hours - negotiable - between 16 and 32 per week

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 2 to 5 years.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear rules and routines while promoting positive interactions among children.
- Drive engagement through hands-on activities that encourage exploration and discovery in a safe setting.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Maintain a clean, organised classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Lead by example, demonstrating leadership qualities that inspire both children and fellow staff members.
Experience
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children and parents alike.
- Proven ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster positive relationships with children.
- Experience in developing age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate children's curiosity and learning is an advantage.
