Part Time LAMDA Drama Teacher
London MADA is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable LAMDA Drama Teacher to join our growing team from September 2026.
We are an established music and performing arts academy with an excellent reputation for educational excellence and a strong track record of examination success. Since launching our LAMDA programme, we have maintained a 100% examination pass rate. London MADA is currently expanding and we are recruiting both for immediate opportunities and future teaching positions.
The successful candidate will deliver after school LAMDA clubs and lessons to children aged 5–16 in schools and private settings across East London and Essex. Existing students are provided, with opportunities for additional work as the academy continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging after-school LAMDA lessons to children of varying ages and abilities
- Prepare students for LAMDA examinations
- Develop confidence, communication and performance skills
- Maintain lesson records and communicate professionally with parents where required
- Support showcases, performances and academy events when appropriate
- Uphold the high standards and values of London MADA
Essential Requirements
- Experience teaching drama, performing arts or LAMDA
- Experience working with children
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Professional, reliable and punctual
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
- Previous LAMDA teaching experience
- Directing or production experience
