Children's Football Coach
Location: Crawley, Horsham & surrounding areas
Pay: £12.25-£25 per hour
Hours: Part-time Saturday/Sunday mornings with opportunities for additional hours as we expand.
About Us
We're passionate about giving children an amazing first experience of football. Our fun, engaging sessions help children aged 18 months to 9 years develop confidence, coordination, teamwork and a lifelong love of being active.
As our academy continues to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic, energetic and reliable coaches to join our team.
The Role
As a Children's Football Coach, you'll deliver exciting football sessions for different age groups, creating a positive environment where every child feels encouraged, supported and included.
No two sessions are the same, you'll be leading games, celebrating achievements and helping children build confidence both on and off the pitch.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver fun, engaging football sessions for children aged 18 months to 9 years.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Build great relationships with children and parents.
- Arrive prepared and represent the academy professionally.
- Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Work alongside other coaches where required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Energetic, enthusiastic and positive.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Confident communicating with young children and parents.
- Passionate about helping children develop.
- A team player with a professional attitude.
- Comfortable leading groups of children.
Previous coaching experience is desirable but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
Essential Requirements
- Ability to work weekends.
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check (if not already held).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Expierence
- Previous experience working with children in sport, education or childcare.
