We are seeking a diligent Housekeeper to join Carrick Care Family in Barrhead, Glasgow. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff, reflecting our commitment to quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of residential and communal areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, and surfaces using appropriate techniques.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition.
- Follow health and safety protocols to protect residents and staff.
- Manage janitorial supplies and ensure proper storage.
- Support with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Prior experience in residential or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
