Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday - 10pm until 7am
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, loading boys, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Sweep and sanitise surfaces using the floor cleaning machine to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Empty bins where required.
- Clean walls, barriers and doors.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to supervisors
- Use equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubber.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures to ensure safety.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during shift hours.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
