Job Overview
Supermarket Cleaner required, 16 hrs per week with regular overtime. The job role is sweeping shop floor, cleaning a small bakery, emtying bins, cleaning staff toilets and canteen etc... Our cleaning team is a small team of 3. You will be working alongside the Tesco staff but for NIC Group Services LTD. Theres only ever one cleaner working at a time in store, so this role requires someone who can work off their own initiative once trained. Must be comfortable communicating with the other 2 cleaners over Whatsapp so that we all know whats going on and what we need to do next shift. We need someone who is reliable and doesnt mind doing the odd extra shift to cover for holiday and sickness.
Must be over 18 and live in or close to Chatteris.
Duties
- Sweeping, mopping and spot cleaning
- Cleaning a small bakery
- Attending to spillages
- Cleaning staff toilets and canteen
- General cleaning within a supermarket
Requirements
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
16 hours per week
1pm to 5pm (Tue, Wed, Thur & Fri)
Set hours will be afternoon shifts but we would need you to work some overtime doing 5.15am to 11am shifts for holiday cover.
Job Type: Part-time
