Job Summary

- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage practices.
- Assist in menu planning and development to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with demonstrated culinary skills.
- Supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and presentation standards.
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Sound understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.
- Experience in menu development, food costing, and inventory control is desirable.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with serving experience in hospitality environments.
