We are offering an NVQ Level 2 in animal care and welfare, and are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who wants to learn on the job! The candidate must be ready for hard work, have a dedication to animals and must be able to get to us independently as public transport isn’t available. It is national apprentice wage and covers 30-32 hours a week This includes at least one weekend day and does not allow holidays in peak times such as summer school holidays Easter school holidays, Bank holiday weekends. Animals do not have calendars or watches.
We are a growing family business who offers activity holidays and daycare to dogs and cats.
Level 2 candidates will be walking dogs, cleaning, learning how to ensure animals are well cared for fed and health checked. Working in a busy, fast paced environment will enable you to see what working in the animal care industry is really like! If you have a passion for animals get in touch! Progression to a level 3 in kennels and cattery management available on completion.
