As a Support Worker, you'll support people to live independently in their own homes and within the community, providing person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and wellbeing.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same. Your role may include:
- Supporting people with everyday living activities.
- Encouraging independence and building confidence.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with personal care where required.
- Supporting with meal preparation and nutrition.
- Administering or assisting with medication following training and company procedures.
- Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping.
- Supporting people to attend appointments and take part in community activities.
- Keeping accurate records and working closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals.

Essential requirements
- A full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A willingness to complete training and work towards high standards of care.
Previous experience in health and social care is welcomed but not essential—full training will be provided.
