We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Cafe Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and achievement of business targets.
- Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Manage staff schedules, organise tasks, and monitor attendance to optimise productivity.
- Support sales initiatives through effective merchandising, promotional activities, and customer engagement strategies.
- Handle customer queries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Contribute to recruitment, training, and development programmes for new and existing staff members.
- Maintain organisational standards by ensuring cleanliness, stock replenishment, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with administrative duties including stock management, record keeping, and correspondence.
Qualifications
- Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
