Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing an enjoyable experience for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, preferably within a bar or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Personal presentation that reflects the welcoming atmosphere of our venue
