Job Title: Accounts Payable
Reporting To: Head of Accounts/Director
Place of Work: West Wickham
Hours of Work: 18 Hours per week
Salary: £28k ( PRO RATA)
This role will involve and is not limited to:
Function
To manage an effective accounts payable process
Invoicing
- Make sure to return all invoices without POs back to respective property managers
- Entering invoices into software strictly as per budgets and in line with POs
- Filling all invoices into respective property folders.
- Process credit notes and refunds for suppliers
Payments & Banking
- Payment to suppliers on bi monthly basis by BACS
- Liaising directly with the bank on banking matters. Transferring money between accounts internally & by BACS & TT
- Copying invoices and banks statements for the preparation of VAT reports and financial/management accounts
Data Input & Reporting
- Entering new suppliers in Propman and update Propman
- Providing various reports from Propman and Excel statements as requested by the Director or any other team member.
- Quarterly client reporting to Associate Director & Property Co-ordinator for onward submission.
General
- Assisting Management Accountants & helping other team members including property managers on a day-to-day basis
- Answer day to day enquiries from contractors, clients & internally from other colleagues.
- Maintaining and updating the database on day to day basis.
- Providing reports and data as and when requested
- Complete any other day to day tasks and share job responsibilities when any team member is not available.
Requirements:
- Previous minimum experience of 2 years in similar multi client accounts payable position is desired.
- Being professional and courteous at all times.
- Endeavouring to keep informed of changing legislation and best practice
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, understanding of AP processes and commitment to meet strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with MS Office is a must and knowledge of anyone of Propman, Qube, ECS, Tramps is desirable.
