The Clifton Arms is a four star hotel with a AA rosette accredited restaurant overlooking the sea front in Lytham St. Annes. The hotel is a family run business that prides itself on quality and we strive to provide a friendly and professional working environment.
We are looking for full and part time Food and Beverage Assistants to work across our Food and Beverage department which includes our conference and banqueting business which operates all kinds of events from Weddings to birthday celebrations and business meetings. Our bar and lounge area is open from 10am serving morning coffee, and drinks until late at night and our AA rosette restaurant and terrace serve meals starting with breakfast right the way through until after 9pm.
The role offers a great variety of experiences, no two days are the same and we are big believers in training and development with the ultimate goal of internal promotion if you are someone who wishes to purse a career in hospitality.
Your job duties will include:
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Develop product knowledge through training and development.
- Respond to guest requests with a “can do, will do” attitude and do everything you can to deliver on their request.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the department
- Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene standards
- Use electronic Point Of Service systems & handle payments
- Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and create a welcoming atmosphere

We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience working in hospitality.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service
