The Role
As Head Bartender, you’ll take the reins of our bar offering, overseeing everything from daily service to seasonal menu creation. You’ll lead by example, combining technical excellence and leadership skills to deliver consistently high standards and a memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional service.
- Develop and implement seasonal cocktail menus, working closely with the Bar Manager and Culinary Director.
- Train and inspire the bar team, promoting knowledge, consistency, and confidence.
- Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, with a focus on both classic and creative cocktails.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage waste control.
- Ensure the bar operates in full compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Be a visible, energetic presence on the floor, fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior bar role, ideally in a high-quality restaurant, cocktail bar, or members' club.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, with an eye for innovation.
- A natural leader with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
- Highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for great service.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing both prep and peak service periods.
