Are you a culinary enthusiast with a passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals? We are looking for a Cook to join our Adult Social Care team. This role involves working 24.5 hours a week over a two-week rota, covering seven days a week throughout the year. You will be responsible for preparing meals for 12 individuals with diverse dietary needs and cultural backgrounds. As a Cook, your key responsibilities will include:

Meal Preparation: Create tailored meals using fresh produce, catering to various dietary requirements.

Menu Management: Plan and order ingredients, ensuring a diverse and appealing menu.

Food Safety Compliance: Follow food safety regulations and maintain accurate records in line with the Safer Food Better Business policy.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with care staff to ensure meals meet the needs of our residents.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

Experience: Proven experience cooking in a commercial kitchen.

Food Hygiene Certification: Level 2 food hygiene is essential; Level 3 is desirable or a commitment to achieve it.

Culinary Creativity: Ability to plan and prepare meals that are both nutritious and appealing.
