Responsibilities
- Provide accurate oral interpretation between Romanian, Polish, or Czech speakers and English in various environments such as medical appointments, legal proceedings, community services, or official meetings.
- Facilitate smooth communication by translating spoken language swiftly and precisely while maintaining the speaker’s intent and tone.
- Assist clients or stakeholders by clarifying instructions, questions, or information during interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times, respecting the privacy of all parties involved.
- Support documentation processes by accurately translating written materials when required, including forms or reports.
- Manage interpretation equipment and ensure clear audio quality during sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to schedule appointments and coordinate interpretation services efficiently.
Requirements
- Multilingual proficiency in Romanian, Polish, or Czech along with fluent English communication skills.
- Bilingual ability with excellent verbal and written translation capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and effectively across languages.
- Experience in translation or interpretation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Demonstrated typing skills for document translation or note-taking purposes.
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts or locations as needed.
- A professional attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to engage confidently with diverse populations.
