Duties include hoovering , mopping , cleaning surfaces , cleaning toilets, hoovering and emptying bins.
ideal candidate must have cleaning experience , be reliable , and able to use their own initiative. Must be able to have a car and able to get to locations . Hourly rate is £12.21ph PAYE. Must have a DBS or be willing to undergo a DBS

We are seeking a reliable Part Time School Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the school premises, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff alike. Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety standards
- Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and kitchen facilities
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required during school holidays or breaks
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently within designated timeframes to minimise disruption to school activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to scheduled shifts
- A positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a school environment
This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating a clean and welcoming space for children and staff. Prior experience in similar settings will be advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided.
Pay: £12.61 per hour
