We are looking for a full-time permanent Vertical Cleaning Manager to join our friendly and supportive team.
POSITION: Vertical Cleaning Manager
SALARY: up to £45,000
WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week (flexible in line with the business needs)

ABOUT THE JOB
This role will require the individual to be responsible for managing and supporting the high performing in-house mobile window cleaning team. To ensure all work is carried out efficiently aligning to the expected high standard and in line with the agreed work schedule. To ensure to always adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and legislation. Report on and investigate any non-compliance or non-completion, finding solutions to make improvements. To have the ability to price new window cleaning work with a full understanding of different access methods. To review existing work including pricing and methods to ensure efficiency. To encourage innovation, inclusivity and a holistic approach to sustainability and social value.
Your duties would include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the organisation and management of our in-house mobile window cleaning team and Service Partners - performance, standards, and completion of work
- Mentor and develop the window cleaning team to ensure they achieve comp objectives and deliver on company strategy. Collaborate with our D&W team to ensure accurate recording and development plans are in place.
- Ensure that colleagues receive adequate, appropriate training, are advised of the correct working practice for carrying out their duties.
- Work to a planned schedule to ensure the services are delivered with maximum efficiency based on productive hours. Organise alternative work when necessary.
- Ensure works are carried out within labour budgets allocated to each job.
- Ensure the team accurately report any work that has not been completed, or of any problems that may have arisen in a timely manner.
- Ensure the use of window cleaning technology such as proof of service is implemented across the teams and used in the correct manner.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture, this includes the reporting of near misses, carrying our toolbox talks, site safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are current, and that work is being carried out in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment is suitable and has the relevant checks to ensure compliance
- Attend Client meetings and to assist with pricing of new work and review existing work.
- Produce quotations, carry out surveys.
- Collaborate with the vertical cleaning director to plan for and achieve growth and increase profitability.
- Support and endorse our ambition to remain people focussed.
- Promote Regular Cleaning colleague initiatives such as Regular Rewards, training platforms, social media, Social Value initiatives etc.
- Support and aid delivery of our Sustainability Strategy including supporting our social value projects and our Net Zero 30 target.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for:
- Experience and understanding of window cleaning and access methods (in-depth knowledge of the industry)
- Experience of working at height is essential.
- Customer service focused with commitment to deliver on promises
- Excellent relationship building skills with a focus on the person as well as the service
- Knowledge of HR procedures/responsibilities and Health & Safety guidelines/legislation and practices.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to delegate and communicate instructions, information, and knowledge clearly and concisely.
- Organised, methodical, proactive with excellent time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills (supportive, friendly, and approachable)
- Reliable, professional with a can-do attitude.
- Confident & motivated leader with ability to influence and persuade whilst building trust.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package and the initiative to work with new apps and development of window cleaning technology.
- Excellent standard of spoken & written English
