One Money Mail Ltd is an FCA-authorised Electronic Money Institution undergoing a significant Finance transformation programme.
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Head of Finance to provide independent oversight, mentoring and financial governance while supporting the development of our internal Finance function.
This is not a day-to-day accounting role.
Instead, you will work alongside our Finance team and CEO to strengthen financial reporting, challenge controls, review month-end close and help build a scalable Finance function.

Review monthly management accounts.

Review General Ledger integrity.

Review balance sheet reconciliations.

Support month-end sign-off.

Review financial controls and governance.
-
Support safeguarding-related financial oversight.
-
Coach and mentor the Finance team.

Support external audit.
-
Advise the CEO on finance governance and improvement opportunities.
Experience within one or more of:

FCA-regulated Financial Services
-
Payments
-
EMI
-
Banking
-
FX
-
Financial Controller
-
Head of Finance
-
Finance Director
-
reviewing rather than processing;
-
challenging rather than simply accepting;
-
mentoring developing finance teams;
-
improving finance functions;
-
building practical financial controls.

Strong practical experience within regulated Financial Services will be considered equally.
