Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support the development and implementation of individual care plans to meet each person's unique needs
- Encourage independence while providing necessary assistance to promote dignity and well-being
- Maintain clear communication with team members, residents, and family members to ensure consistent care delivery
- Support with light domestic tasks including meal preparation, medication reminders, and household chores
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update care plans regularly
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments as needed, ensuring safe transportation and support during travel
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt to changing needs
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Valid driving license preferred for roles involving home visits or transportation duties
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being and independence
