Summary
Dyfed Steels is seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team in Llanelli. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by utilizing advanced laser technology to ensure precision cutting of steel materials, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities
Operate laser cutting machines with precision to meet production specifications. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment.
Collaborate with the fabrication team to optimize production processes. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate cutting. Monitor production output and report any discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in training new operators on laser equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role in the steel industry. Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and techniques.
Proficient in operating laser cutting machines and related equipment. Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic math skills for measurements.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Remuneration
£12.84 p/h
Day shift Allowance - £5 p/shift
Afternoon Shift Allowance - £10.45 p/shift
Night Shift Allowance - £16.99
Attendance Allowance - £40 p/month (Paid Month following provided 100% Attendance)
