Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own delivery vehicle and deliver parcels across designated routes
- Verify delivery addresses and parcel contents before departure to ensure accuracy
- Load and unload parcels with proper handling techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a secure driving environment
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip
Skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Valid driver’s license
- Vehicle (medium to large car or van)
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially in managing parcel handling and heavy lifting tasks
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when loading or unloading parcels
