Our Team:
Unity Build & Repair are looking for a labourer with a driving license (essential) to join our projects team! The applicant must also be over the age of 30 years due to Van insurance requirements.
Here at Unity Build & Repair we renovate and manage multiple properties within Plymouth. We pride ourselves on providing high quality homes.
As a skilled labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support construction and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment.
Duties:
- Picking up and delivering materials to sites with use of a company Van - Must be competent at driving
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Assist with construction and maintenance projects
- Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform general labour duties as assigned
Qualification
- Proven experience as a labourer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance procedures
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Full Driving Licence essential for this position due to Van use ***
Hours: Monday- Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
