We are currently seeking an experienced External or Internal Transport Manager to join our team within a busy transport and logistics environment. This is a key role responsible for overseeing daily operations while ensuring full compliance with all transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing day-to-day transport operations
- Ensuring full compliance with DVSA and operator licence requirements
- Monitoring driver hours, tachographs, and working time regulations
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is up to date
- Managing vehicle maintenance schedules and defect reporting
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Supporting the wider team and stepping in where required
Requirements:
- Valid CPC qualification (essential)
- Previous experience in a Transport Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of transport compliance and regulations
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Working Hours:
12-15 hours a week
