Electrical Project Manager
Location: Oxford (Projects Across the Midlands & Southern Regions)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)

TimesGroup Ltd is a growing Mechanical & Electrical Contractor delivering projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, residential, industrial and public sectors.
Due to an exciting pipeline of secured and upcoming projects, we are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our Projects Division on a permanent basis.

Whilst this role is advertised from Oxford, you will be assigned to projects across the Midlands and surrounding regions in line with business requirements.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing electrical installations from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You'll work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and our internal delivery teams to ensure every project is completed successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical projects from pre-start through to completion.
- Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant and material deliveries.
- Attend client, design, progress and site meetings.
- Produce and manage project programmes.
- Monitor project costs and identify variations where appropriate.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Manage site supervisors, electricians and subcontractors.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and final handover documentation.
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
- Ensure all works comply with current regulations, specifications and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the construction industry.
- Experience delivering commercial electrical installation projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project costs.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel to project locations as required.
- SMSTS (preferred).
- CSCS Managers Card (preferred).
- Relevant Electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
