Windows & Doors Depot is looking for an experienced Window and Door Fitter to join our team.
We have full-time and part-time positions available and are looking for someone reliable, experienced and able to complete installations to a high standard.
The Role
The work will mainly involve fitting windows and doors at residential properties, with some commercial work where required.
You will be fitting a range of products including:
- uPVC windows and doors
- Aluminium windows and doors
- Composite doors
- French doors
- Bifold doors
- Sliding/patio doors
- Glass units
- Trims and finishing products
- Conservatories from time to time
Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Remove existing windows and doors safely
- Install replacement windows and doors correctly
- Fit and glaze products where required
- Carry out sealing, trimming and finishing work
- Make good around installations
- Fit handles, hinges and other hardware
- Carry out adjustments and remedial work when required
- Occasionally work on conservatory installations
- Keep the customer's property clean and tidy while working
- Look after company tools, materials and equipment
- Work professionally around customers and other members of the team
- Check your work before leaving site and make sure the installation is completed properly
What We're Looking For
Previous window and door fitting experience is preferred.
We are particularly interested in people who can work independently and are confident fitting a range of products.
Experience with conservatories, aluminium, bifolds and composite doors would be an advantage.
You should be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Good at problem solving
- Able to work to a high standard
- Comfortable dealing with customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to take responsibility for the quality of your own installations
A full UK driving licence is a must.
Hours
Full-time or part-time available.
Full-time working hours are generally:
Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 6:00pm
Part-time hours can be discussed depending on availability.
Pay
Pay will be discussed with each applicant and will depend on their experience, ability and skill level.
We are happy to speak to fitters with different levels of experience, with pay agreed accordingly.

Pay: £25,420.00-£59,159.67 per year
