Make a difference every day
As Care Manager for our Barnsley service, you’ll lead the day to day delivery of high quality home care in the community. You’ll support your team, ensure care is delivered safely and help the service continue to grow. This is a hands on leadership role where your decisions directly shape the culture of the service and the support people receive in their own homes.
What you’ll do
- Lead and support a team of care staff, coordinators and supervisors
- Ensure care is delivered safely and consistently in line with CQC requirements
- Support recruitment, training and development of care staff
- Ensure care plans are person centred and reflect the needs of each client
- Build positive relationships with families, local authorities and health professionals
- Monitor service performance including quality, staffing and care hours
- Manage incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns appropriately
- Support audits and continuous improvement across the service
- Identify opportunities to grow the service and support more people locally
- Take part in the On call rota shared between the team.

About you
This role will suit you if you:
- Have experience managing or supervising within a domiciliary care service
- Have a strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting and developing care staff
- Confidence working with families, local authorities and health professionals
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy service
