FW Auto Services Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced vehicle technician and MOT tester to join our busy growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, repairing and servicing a wide range of vehicles while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify safety issues.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Communicate efficiently with the team.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Keep the work place clean and tidy.
Requirements:
- Proven previous experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic and Class 4 MOT tester is a must.
- Experience in clutches, brakes, suspension, timing belts/chains and engine work.
- Good diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part or a team.
- Full UK Manual driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
Desirable:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle maintenance qualification.
- Class 7 Tester Licence desirable
