About the Role
Flint Town United is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Community Coach to join the club's community team.
The successful candidate will deliver football and community programmes across Flint and the surrounding areas, working with schools, grassroots clubs, young people and community organisations.
The role will help increase participation in football and strengthen Flint Town United's relationship with the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality football coaching sessions.
- Deliver football programmes in local schools.
- Run after-school clubs and holiday programmes.
- Organise football festivals and tournaments.
- Develop relationships with local schools and community organisations.
- Support girls' football and women's football programmes.
- Support inclusive and disability football activities.
- Support grassroots football clubs and local teams.
- Help identify talented players who may be suitable for the Flint Town United academy.
- Support Flint Town United Foundation projects and programmes.
- Assist with community events and matchday activities.
- Promote Flint Town United within the local community.
- Keep accurate attendance and programme records.
- Collect feedback and information required for community and funding programmes.
- Support the delivery of sponsored and funded community projects.
Requirements
Essential:
- Appropriate FAW/UEFA coaching qualification.
- Experience coaching children or young people.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work with different ages and abilities.
- Professional and reliable approach.
- Understanding of safeguarding requirements.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and school holidays when required.
Desirable:
- Experience working for a football club or Foundation.
- Experience working in schools.
- Experience coaching girls' or disability football.
- First Aid qualification.
- Full driving licence.
The successful candidate will represent Flint Town United in the community and will be expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
Pay: £8.50-£36.45 per hour
