You will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS, with an interest in music/singing, drama, dance, yoga or art. We are open for this role to be either part time hours (16 - 20) or full time hours (up to 40 hours) depending on your needs. Hours will be on a fixed rota, between Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm.
Working in the Early Years Department of our specialist performing arts school, the job entails assisting the lead class teacher and working as part of a lovely team of people, with classes of wonderful pre-school age children, aged 2-4! You will be preparing an inviting and exciting environment, ensuring a clean and safe school, tending to a young child's individual developmental needs, planning engaging activities and assessing young children's progress to ensure they are fulfilling their potential.
Performatots is a fun, active and super unique place to work. There's simply nowhere like it! We have our own dance studio, drama hall, yoga studio and workshop spaces as well as our dedicated play classrooms. We go out on our outdoor adventures each afternoon and head out into the town for many learning opportunities outdoors - no day is the same and we need team members with lots of energy and a passion for developing young minds! We need confident, creative people to inspire our youngest pupils and build curiosity, confidence, resilience, communication skills and a sense of adventure in our pupils! We are setting them up for a successful life ahead of them, and we are such a passionate, positive and pioneering team of early years educators.
