We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, customer service, and management. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services, including specialised treatments such as balayage and all colour services. This position is part time and suitable for professionals committed to excellence in their craft.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colours, treatments, and specialised styling
- Provide expert advice to clients on hair care and styling options tailored to their individual needs
- Manage daily salon operations, ensuring the smooth running of the store and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Handle front desk duties such as appointment scheduling, client consultations, and upselling additional services or products
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and maximise customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairdressing and industry best practices
- Assist with creating and contributing to social media content
- Promote retail sales by upselling products that complement client treatments
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility and skill in various styling techniques
- Previous management experience is desirable but not essential
- Certification or recognised training up to NVQ Level 3 application is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage appointments efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive attitude towards upselling products and services to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Professional appearance and demeanour with a passion for hair industry trends

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
