Job Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive part time HR Administrator to join our HR team on a temporary 3- 6-month contract.
This role will provide additional administrative support to the HR team, with a key focus on maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR processes and ensuring day-to-day HR administration is completed efficiently and accurately.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience who enjoys working in a busy, supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Processing employee changes, starters and leavers
- Preparing HR documentation, letters and correspondence
- Managing and coordinating the new starter process
- Coordinating monthly Occupational Health appointments
- Supporting recruitment administration and pre-employment checks
- Maintaining HR compliance records and documentation
- Assisting with employee data, reporting and information requirements
- Maintaining organised HR filing and records
- Providing general administrative support to the HR team
- Ensuring HR administration is completed accurately, confidentially and within required timescales
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in HR administration or a similar administrative role
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Able to work at pace while maintaining excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a high standard of work
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
- A clear, confident and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Reliable and pro-active with a positive "can do" attitude.
- Able to work independently, take initiative and use sound judgement when required
- A quick learner, with the ability to follow instructions and adapt positively to new processes, systems and ways of working
- A positive and collaborative team player who is willing to provide support wherever needed
Expected hours: 15.0 – 21.0 per week

Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- HR Administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Office Administration: 2 years (preferred)
